Plays Phil Croxley in ITV’s hit thriller Trigger Point with Vicky McClure. S4 is on ITV & ITVx now.

Christopher has no formal training and began his career later in life at age thirty. Gaining experience from the indie sector and personal study, his first recognised credit came in Emmy winning mini-series Hatfields & McCoys, 2012, with Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton, in which he played cocky West Virginian logger, French Ellis.

Last seen as Uncle Rich in S3 of award winning NETFLIX comedy drama Heartstopper alongside Kit Connor and Hayley Atwell, and as Joanne Froggatt’s supportive husband in covid drama Breathtaking for HTM Television.

Other key roles include DCS John Domaille in ITV’s true-crime drama about the flawed Yorkshire Ripper investigation, The Long Shadow, and as Samantha Morton’s supportive brother, Harry, in true-crime serial killer drama Rillington Place with Tim Roth. He also played a lead supporting role in S1 of BBC’s Showtrial as unreliable detective DC Andy Lowell.

His voice work includes characters in the Assassins Creedvideo game series and a main role in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.

Outside of dramatic acting, he also works as a character actor for several law enforcement agencies, including the National Crime Agency and British Counter Terror Police. Alongside academics Emily & Laurence Alison, he portrays suspects in real-life interview training scenarios to help investigators hone interview techniques. The roleplay requires absorbing a character and a scenario before relying upon improvisation within the interview to achieve naturalism.

He also writes, having written numerous audio dramas for Big Finish Productions, and is developing several film and TV scripts.
